Named after the 1931 Grand National winner who famously wore one, the Zilco Grackle Noseband (sometimes called a "Figure 8" noseband) is a proven classic. Made from Zilco's famous synthetic strapping, it offers durability, weather resistance, and easy care.

Like a drop noseband, the Grackle helps stabilise the bit and discourage the horse from crossing its jaw or opening its mouth. However, it is widely considered less constrictive to breathing because the nose pressure is localised higher up the face—leaving the nostrils more free.

Correct fitting tip:
A correctly fitted Grackle will have the centre piece (where the straps cross) sitting approximately in line with the end of the horse’s cheekbone.
